Statutes and Stories will be headlining an amazing Alexander Hamilton exhibit at the Cotilla Gallery at Nova Southeastern University from 3/17 – 4/15.

Pictured below is a 1790 edition of the Columbian Centinel, a famous Boston newspaper. If you look closely at the top left column you will see a legal notice for the “Act Providing for More Effective Collection of Duties.” Why would we include this in a Hamilton exhibit?
