MISS DALLEY’S BOARDING HOUSE POWERPOINT
The following PowerPoint summarizes primary sources and other evidence submitted to the State of Pennsylvania’s Historical and Museum Commission in support of the pending historic marker application to honor Miss Mary Dalley and her long overlooked Boarding House.
For over two decades members of the founding generation boarded with Miss Dalley when attending the Continental Congress and Confederation Congress. Perhaps her most famous guests included Gouverneur Morris and Alexander Hamilton, who boarded with Miss Dalley during the Constitutional Convention in 1787.
